As IDT has full access to all system resources – it can work as a File Manager.
At the end of the day, instead of making copy of your document manually – you can create a Task that will do everything for you.
It can be as simple as:
- Saving your file,
- Saving your file with a new name,
- Closing your file,
- Opening this newly saved copy – to check if it has been saved properly – unchecked backup is as good as no backup at all,
- Overwriting your original file so you can work on it the next day.
Or can be way more advanced:
- Saving your file,
- Saving your file with a new name,
- Closing your file,
- Opening this newly saved copy – to check… as above,
- Closing this copy,
- Copying this copy to another folder – on a local drive or on a local server,
- Uploading this copy to an FTP server,
- Overwriting your original file so you can work on it the next day,
- Anything else,
- Shutting down your machine,
